School of Theatre Announces 2018/19 Season

2018-2019 theatre season

 

The School of Theatre at Florida State University announces its 2018-19 season with a dynamic collection of shows, filled with inspired storytelling, music, and wit. Featuring six productions, the season includes Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice, the collegiate premiere of Shakespeare in Love, William Finn and James Lapine’s musical A New Brain, Pinkalicious The Musical based upon the best selling children’s book, multi-award winning Fiddler on the Roof, and Really Really by Paul Downs Colaizzo. “In the School of Theatre, we are committed to a learning environment that builds on our rich past as it enters a new year – encouraging excellence, imagination, artistry, and leadership to empower our students to create the theatre of the future,” says Executive Director Cameron Jackson.

Tickets: Subscriptions for the 2018-2019 season are on sale now for Patrons Associations Members. Non-Patron Subscriptions will go on sale on March 30, 2018. Single tickets will go on sale on September 12, 2018. They are $10-22, plus applicable fees, and are subject to availability. Tickets may be purchased online at tickets.fsu.edu, by phone at (850) 644-6500, or in person at the Fine Arts Ticket Office located in the Fine Arts Building at 540 West Call Street, Tallahassee, FL 32306. The Fine Arts Ticket Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00am – 4:00pm.

Performance Times: Wednesday – Saturday at 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm for musicals. Pinkalicious: Thursday – Saturday at 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm, Sunday at 4:00pm

Location: The Fallon Theatre is located in the Fine Arts Building (540 West Call Street, Tallahassee, FL 32306) on the Florida State University Campus. The Lab Theatre at Florida State University is located on Copeland Street between St. Augustine and Lafayette Streets. The Studio Theatre is located in the Williams Building, near the intersection of Jefferson and Copeland Streets.
