Audra Price Pittman, Ph.D, received her BFA in Illustration from the University of Connecticut and her MFA in teaching from the Maryland Institute College of Art. After teaching middle school art, Audra pursued her PhD in Art Education, Arts Administration and Museum Education at the FSU. She has taught at Lander University and was former Chair of the Department of Professional Education at Savannah College of Art and Design. After relocating to Tallahassee to focus on building her family with husband Sean Pittman, Audra opened Suite P Creative Studio. Currently, Audra serves on the boards for Boys Town of North Florida, LeMoyne Art Foundation, and The John G. Riley House & Museum and is chair of the 2014 United Way “Art off the Wall” campaign. She was appointed Vice-Chair of the Cultural Plan Review Committee for the City of Tallahassee/Leon County, Florida. Audra was elected to be a member of Tallahassee chapters of The Links, Inc. and Jack & Jill of America, Inc. In June of 2014, Audra became the director of Tallahassee’s Council on Culture & Art (COCA).
