Co-owner
ClothesLine Screen Printing & Embroidered Apparel

Debra Lachter has called Tallahassee her home for more than 35 years. She and her husband moved here to open a custom screen printing and embroidery business in 1981. Before moving to Tallahassee, Debra taught Creative Movement and danced with a semi-professional dance company in St. Petersburg, Florida, while raising two young children. When their business, ClothesLine, was up and running, Debra went back to school and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University. Upon retiring from teaching, Debra has been enjoying her grandchildren and pursuing a life-long love of art, by taking as many art classes and workshops that she can manage. Her passion for dance is rewarded by serving on the FSU Friends of Dance Board of Directors. She has been a board member for more than a decade and served as both vice president and president. Debra is a member of Connestee Art League, Council on Cultural Arts, Gadsden Arts Center Artist Guild, Lemoyne Center for the Visual Arts and Tallahassee Watercolor Society
