MFA Candidates to Show at Fountain Art Fair During Art Basel: Miami Beach
Tours, transportation and accommodations are arranged for the Department of Art’s MFA candidates to experience Art Basel Miami Beach each December, but this year will the trip will be even more exciting.
The Department of Art would like to extend congratulations to its MFA students and their gallery Working Method Contemporary, which was recently accepted into Fountain Art Fair 2011.
The Fountain Art Fair is unlike any other venue at Art Basel Miami noting,“Art lovers, collectors and press are in agreement that Fountain features the most engaging, unexpected, unpredictable artists of all the other fairs.”

“To mark its 10th edition, Art Basel Miami Beach will inaugurate a new collaboration with the Bass Museum of Art on the Art Public sector, which will transform Collins Park with unique artworks and performances by renowned artists and emerging talents. For the first time, Art Video will be presented on the large-scale outdoor projection wall of the New World Center, designed by Frank Gehry. The free public viewings will be part of a number of special events and performances taking place across Miami Beach for the duration of the show to celebrate the 10th edition.”
