2015 Spring Advisory Board Meeting

Dean Weishar hosted the biannual Dean’s Advisory Board meeting on April 24th –25th, 2015. The weekend kicked off with a reception as his home, where board members and guests mingled over cocktails and had the opportunity to view and discuss art by students Elece Thompson and Scott Bell. On Saturday morning, the group met at the Carnaghi Arts Building to discuss the Advisory Board’s mission statement and other important topics. 

Department Chairs presented their department’s successes over the past year as well as their most significant aspirations for the coming year. Following the meeting, board members toured the FSU School of Theatre Scenic Studios and art galleries. They also took a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts to experience the Graduating Artists Exhibit. The weekend concluded with members attending the Paint Around Gala and Auction.
