Montego Glover (Les Misérables)
Tony Award-nominated actress and FSU alum Montego Glover has signed on for a recurring role in the upcoming season of the NBC hit show SMASH, currently filming in New York. Read more about SMASH’s exciting new season on broadwayworld.com by clicking here.
Glover graduated from the BFA Music Theatre program in 1996, and went on to Broadway in the roles of Celie and Nettie in The Color Purple. She later received a Tony Award Nomination for “Best Performance by a Lead Actress in a Musical,” originating the role of Felicia Farrell in MEMPHIS. Montego also received the Drama Desk Award, the Outer Critics Circle Award, and a Drama League Nomination for her work on MEMPHIS.
