Theatre Alum to Play FSU Homecoming’s Warchant Concert

Florida State University School of Theatre Alum John Driskell Hopkins, BA Theatre (1993) and founding member of the Zac Brown Band, will be playing the FSU Homecoming Warchant Concert on Thursday, Nov. 12th at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center as part of the Zac Brown Band’s Jekyll + Hyde Tour.

Hopkins has been with the band since its inception. He is a bassist as well as songwriter for the band, helping to work out the kinks for their first hit single “Toes”. Hopkins has recently released his own album titled “Daylight” with his band John Driskell Hopkins & Balsam Range.

The Zac Brown Band is a three-time GRAMMY winner and has released four studio albums: “Jekyll + Hyde”, “Uncaged”, “You Get What You Give”, and “The Foundation”. Their albums have sold over seven million copies and have produced eleven #1 hit singles.
