Dr. Jeff Broome, Assistant Professor, FSU Art Education

Dr. Jeff Broome, Assistant Professor of Art Education at Florida State University, will be co-presenting ”Art Education Graduate Programs in Florida: Ready to Further Your Own Education?” along with Dr. Michelle Tillander of the University of Florida at the Florida Art Education Association Conference in Daytona Beach on Saturday October 12.

For over 60 years, the Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) has provided the largest professional development conference for visual art educators in Florida. This statewide event offers over 150 hands-on workshops, demonstrations, presentations, general sessions, and special events for more than 600 art educators each year.

The presentation by Dr. Broome and Dr. Tillander will explore a variety of options for graduate programs in art education. Opportunities for online masters degrees, traditional masters degrees, doctoral degrees, as well as tracks in art education, art therapy, and arts administration will be discussed.
