On October 2nd & 3rd, 2015 the Florida State University Department of Art History will proudly host our 33rd Annual Graduate Student Symposium, bringing together graduate students from programs around the country for presentation and discussion of their research. Twelve student participants will present 20-minute papers, each followed by critical discussion with students and faculty. The Symposium keynote address is delivered by a visiting scholar as part of the Thursby Distinguished Scholars Lecture Series. This year’s keynote speaker is Claire Farago, Professor of Art History at the University of Colorado Boulder. Dr. Farago will present “Rethinking Leonardo da Vinci: from Collaboration in the Workshop to the Trattato della Pittura” on Friday evening, October 2nd in room 2005 WJB.
