Eleanor Aldrich + Barbara Weissberger at FAR: A Presentation on Their Work and Their Collaboration with Comma

Eleanor Aldrich and Barbara Weissberger met as participants in The Drawing Center’s inaugural Open Sessions program in 2014 where their work was paired based on mutual affinities. Since meeting they have collaborated on work that has appeared in group exhibitions and a recent solo installation at GRIN Providence. They continue to be curious about the tensions between the actual and illusion.

Aldrich and Weissberger will be visiting artists at the Facility for Arts Research (FAR) from January 30th to February 3. Their collaboration with Judy Rushin will mark the beginning of The Comma Project Volume 3. A presentation on their work will be held on Tuesday, January 30th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

To start the evening, MFA candidate Christina Anduiza, will give a presentation her experience with FSU in NYC
