Valgerdur Hauksdóttir is an Icelandic artist / printmaker from Reyjkavik. Over her distinguished career, she has served on the faculty of the Icelandic College of Art and Crafts, as the Head of Printmaking for the Iceland Art Academy, and as the founder / co-coordinator of PA&R (Printmaking, Art and Research), a co-operative and experimental printmaking program between five European art institutions. She is the founding director of the cultural education company VIA Ltd which conducts research into non-toxic and sustainable methods in fine art printmaking.
This event is free and open to the public, and parking is available to all visitors in the Call Street garage. The Museum will remain open until 8:00 p.m.
