Festival: Grand Opening of the Center for Asian Art

Festival: The grand opening of the Center for Asian Art in the Dr. Helga Wall-Apelt Gallery of Asian Art will be celebrated with a community festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ringling Museum of Art. The Center for Asian Art explores historical and contemporary Asian art with exhibitions, research and programs. The grand opening will provide a scavenger hunt in the galleries, a performance of Taiko Japanese drummers, a pan-Asian martial arts demonstration, a family yoga workshop, a kimono presentation and a live exhibit of silkworms.
