Opening Reception: Power in the Panhandle

The exhibition, Power in the Panhandle: Photographing the Aftermath of Hurricane Michael in Marianna and Panama City, Florida will open to the public Tuesday, April 16, 2019, with a reception form 4 – 6pm at the Gallery for Innovation and the Arts in the R.A. Gray Building at 500 South Bronough Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399. Marianna and Panama City were two of many cities in Hurricane Michael’s path, resulting in unprecedented destruction in the Panhandle. The photographs featured in the exhibition offer unique insight into the immediate aftermath, widespread impact, and recovery efforts of these Floridian communities.
