Herman Ramos is set to complete his 5 year run as a student of dance at Florida State University (FSU Dance). In partial fulfillment of the Master of Fine Arts Degree in Dance, Herman will present his concert thesis Shaped by Society.

The 3 works that make Shaped by Society, look at the aspects of dance within American capitalism that have heavily influenced Herman’s current choreographic aesthetic and training. FSU movers with and without dance seeking degrees are asked to provide a dynamic mixture of precision choreography, emotional duress, and breakdance. FSU student and DJ/producer Kristopher Apollo Barnett has provided the entire sound score. Be sure to visit his Soundcloud page for more beats.

Tickets for the performance are $8 general admission and $5 for FSU Students with a valid FSU ID. For ticket information, contact the Fine Arts Ticket Office at 850-644-6500, or online.
