Suzanne Farrell Workshop for Young Dancers

In 2020, the School of Dance will be hosting two workshops for up and coming dancers. The first is the Suzanne Farrell Workshop for Young Dancers, which will take place February 1-2. 2020. The second is the Summer Intensive Dance Workshop, which will be held June 7-27, 2020. Both workshops will take place in the Montgomery Hall at Florida State University. Discounted registration ends on November 25th.

Suzanne Farrell Young Dancers Workshop is geared towards intermediate and advanced students ages 10-18 and will provide the student with a rare opportunity to take a master class from world-renowned ballerina Suzanne Farrell and other School of Faculty.

Summer Dance Intensive is a 1-3 week long day or residential program. Participants must be between the ages of 14-18. Dancers take day and evening classes ranging from ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, music theater, hip-hop, and improvisation technique classes as well as conditioning.
