The Facility for Arts Research is offering its first Rhino class in early May. An industry standard used in disciplines such as naval architecture and digital fabrication, Rhino is 3D modeling software that offers tools for object creation and editing, presentation and more. Windham Graves and Noah Brock will be team-teaching this comprehensive 3-day class.

All the seats are currently filled but more classes will be scheduled for the coming summer and fall.

This month, FAR says goodbye to Richard Brunck, who is relocating to New England. Brunck, CVATD’s Technology Specialist, was instrumental in coordinating FAR’s physical and technological space and has been active with FAR in a variety of roles since its inception. He will be greatly missed and we wish him the best of luck. The staff congratulates Abigail Lucien, Holly Rose Moore and Fabricio Farias, members of this year’s graduating BFA class. These three students contributed many hours of assistance during their internships at Small Craft Advisory Press and we’re excited to see their artistic careers grow.
