School of Theatre BFA Music Theatre Alum Tanisha Moore will be gracing the stage across the nation as Kiki in the 2015-2016 tour of the hit Broadway musical Flashdance.

Being able to perform in Tallahassee at the same venue where my college graduation took place in May is nothing but a blessing. I truly believe that being a Seminole makes you unstoppable!

– Tanisha Moore

The tour made a stop in Tallahassee on December 1, 2015 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center as part of Tallahassee Broadway Series, presented by Opening Nights Performing Arts Series and Festival at Florida State University and the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.

With electrifying dance at its core, Flashdance tells the inspiring story of Alex Owens, a Pittsburgh steel mill welder by day and bar dancer by night with dreams of one day becoming a professional performer. When romance with her steel mill boss threatens to complicate her ambitions, Alex learns the meaning of love and its power to fuel the pursuit of her dream. Flashdance features a fantastic score including hit songs from the movie plus 16 brand new songs from Robbie Roth and Robert Cary.
