The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training New Stages Tour presents their production of William Shakespear’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM from September through November 2014.
This production will be directed and adpated by New York City theatre/opera director Jen Wineman. This production is also the opening night feature at the Florida Theatre Conference in Gainesville on November 5 at Santa Fe College.
This season’s New Stages Tour has a fresh, modern twist. Instead of Ancient Greece as its backdrop, this adaptation is set in a modern-day high school,a pressure-cooker of cliques, outsiders, jealousy, gossip and first love. Stay tuned for the tour’s performance date at the FSU School of Theatre!
