The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, one of the top 10 actor training programs in the country, is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000 grant from the Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation. The grant will support the Conservatory’s upcoming production of Shakespeare in the Gardens: A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the 2016-2017 season.

Shakespeare in the Gardens: A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performed outdoors at the beautiful Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota during the month of April 2017 and will feature the entire 2nd year MFA class at the FSU/Asolo Conservatory.

“A tropical, urban oasis featuring unparalleled horticulture displays and a Sarasota bay-front setting, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is a world-class center for education, research and conservation.”
