Holly Hanessian: Emotion Neuroscience and Development (TREND) Artist-In-Residence
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Transdiscplinary Research in Emotion Neuroscience and Development (TREND) artist-in-residence will be national artist, Holly Hanessian. Holly works in many media. Her current project involves understanding how connections between people develop using hand holding for long enough that oxytocin is released as a gateway. Understanding neural mechanisms associated with this Touch in Real Time project will be a feature of her visit.
Highlights of Holly’s visit will include a TREND lecture on her work including the Touch in Real Time project, Friday May 3, 2pm, Loffler building

All are welcome to join in on what’s to be a very interesting discussion. Holly will be investigating neural features associated with hand holding using ambulatory EEG while clay impressions of handshakes are taken.
