FSU Booth at ICFF

The Department of Interior Design displayed student work at the Javits Center during the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City in May. Associate Professor Marlo Ransdell and graduate students met with hundreds of fair attendees and shared work produced in Studio D, the department’s design and digital fabrication lab in the Carnaghi Arts Building. Work featured designs created using the laser printer and CNC router, with many showcasing “flat pack” designs that can easily be reproduced and shipped. This was the department’s first time showing student work at ICFF. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the program and connect with potential internship locations as well as future employers of FSU students.
