Teaching: New York to Virginia – Katie Nesbit

School of Theatre alumna Katie Nesbit (MFA Technical Production ’10) spent the past year as an Assistant Professor of Technical Production and resident Technical Director at SUNY Fredonia. Recently however, she was given the opportunity to start as an Instructor of Scenic Technology at Virginia Tech. She’ll begin in August 2011.

Nesbit is closing her second season at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival as Assistant Production Manager where she was able to bring several of her students as interns in varying departments.
