Lee Emma Running in Residence at SCAP

Lee Emma Running will be in residence at FAR’s Small Craft Advisory Press(SCAP) from March 12 – March 16, 2013. Running and SCAP Director Denise Bookwalter will collaborate on a book project with the working title Linings during her visit.

Lee Emma Running is an Associate Professor of Art at Grinnell College in Iowa. Her work is an investigation of form and pattern found in the natural world. Recent projects look at systems and structures that are similar in micro and macroscopic scale, such as the way the veins in a leaf mimic those in our bodies as well as a river system seen from space.
