Know any great FSU Faculty and Advisors? This is an open invitation to faculty, staff, and students to nominate any outstanding individuals for:
University Teaching and Advising Awards for Faculty
- Excellence in undergraduate teaching and advising
- Open to all faculty, including tenured, tenure-track, and specialized faculty
Graduate Teaching Awards
- Excellence in graduate teaching
- Open to all faculty, including tenured, tenure-track, and specialized faculty
Distinguished Teacher Award
- Honors a recipient of an earlier University Teaching Award who demonstrates sustained excellence in teaching
University Advising Awards for Staff
- Honors excellence in advising
- Open to all staff in advising
Criteria used to evaluate nominees include:
- Extensive knowledge and mastery of the subject
- Innovation in teaching and course design
- Ability to inspire, guide, and mentor students in critical and creative thinking about the subject matter
- Knowledge of related career and advanced studies options
