Nominations for the upcoming President’s Undergraduate Humanitarian of the Year award will be due to the Office of the Dean by the close of business on Friday, January 23, 2015. A college winner will be selected by February 12, 2015. We look forward to receiving your nominations, and are grateful for your efforts to honor outstanding undergraduate citizens.
This award recognizes students who have records of exceptional service and have demonstrated a commitment to civic responsibility and public service. Students chosen as college winners will be recognized and will receive a $200 award to be used as a donation to the community service agency of their choice; for the President’s award, the committee will select one student from the college winners who best exemplifies humanitarian work. The President’s recipient will receive an additional $1,000 to be used as a donation to the community service agency of their choice.
More information, including a ServScript report, will be provided from the Center for Leadership & Social Change following the holiday break. Please note that a reflection essay will be required to be submitted by the nominee on or before January 23, 2015.
