AN EXPLORATION OF LIFE THROUGH PHOTOBOOKS

Bound By Community addresses representations of communities and subcultures through the photobook medium. Using objects curated from the collections of Florida State University’s Strozier Library, Special Collections, and the Museum of Fine Art, this exhibition explores the dynamics of the photobook medium, and attends to themes of identity formation as it relates to family, class, ethnicity, and social groups. Curated by the undergraduate Museum Object class, Bound By Community is on view April 20 through May 8.
