Jana Marie Cariddi is an artist originally from Northern New Jersey. Working in painting and ceramic sculpture, Cariddi creates internal landscapes that function as reflections of the body, emotion, memory, and sexuality. Her work has been exhibited internationally and throughout North America. She has participated in artist residencies in Germany and Japan, where she has exhibited her work and hosted artist workshops. Cariddi has received her fully funded MFA from the University of Madison-Wisconsin, and her BFA in painting at the Savannah College of Art & Design. She currently works and lives in Northern Florida, where she is a Visiting Professor of Painting & Drawing at Florida State University.
