Professor Marlo Ransdell Receives Graduate Teaching Award

The Department of Interior Architecture + Design congratulates Dr. Marlo Ransdell for her recent University Graduate Teaching Award. Dr. Ransdell is director of Studio D, the department’s digital fabrication lab, and teaches a number of courses in the graduate and undergraduate programs. She is a key ingredient in the first semester graduate student experience where she leads new MS and MFA students through the research and programming process, thus laying the groundwork for their thesis or capstone graduate project. She also has been instrumental in the furniture design program teaching both the graduate furniture studio as well as the undergraduate furniture design class.
