School of Theatre Acknowledged in 2017 for Broadway Success

Published March 15, 2017

The College of Fine Arts would like to congratulate the Florida State University School of Theatre who was recently named one of the top 20 Musical Theatre Colleges for Broadway success again!

With highly selective acceptance rates, small classes and highly acknowledged programs, Florida State’s School of Theatre outshines the others on the list for value and results. Its alums can be seen on stage in national tours and regional theatres across the country and include winners of Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, Drama Desk Awards and much more.

“The School of Theatre at Florida State has been bridging the gap between education and the profession for over forty years. In true Seminole spirit, these fine artists stand on the shoulders of so many that have come before and pave the way for those yet to come. They definitely have the strength to lead skills to succeed and the character to make a difference in the arts.”

Cameron JacksonExecutive Director of the Florida State University School of Theatre
