Spring Awakening is the powerful rock musical adaptation of the controversial 1891 German play by Frank Wedekind about a group of teens coming of age in a repressed world. Exploding hormones, desire and shame, and total lack of understanding about sexuality, love, and all the rest… the consequences are troubling for all involved.
