Students MANDEM and Annie Donovan Win Awards at LaGrange National

Two students from FSU’s Studio Art MFA program, MANDEM and Annie Donovan, won Juror’s Merit awards at the LaGrange National XXVIII Biennial exhibition.

Juried by Annette Cone-Skelton, the President/ Founding Director of The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA), the LaGrange National featured 115 works that had been selected from over 1,100 national submissions. The exhibit ran from February 21 to April 18, 2014 at the LaGrange Art Museum in LaGrange, GA.

MANDEM received the Juror’s Merit award for the mixed media painting “Medusa, In Her Sunday Best,” and Annie Donovan received the Juror’s Merit award for the artist’s book, “Fabrication.”
