Luis Lopez-Maldonado is a California native, and is a candidate for the Master of Arts in Dance at Florida State University. He will be graduating this May and will be starting his second master’s degree in the fall, attending the University of Notre Dame as a candidate for the MFA in Creative Writing.
The Luis Damian & Co., Florida State University School of Dance and the Museum of Fine Arts will be presenting TRANSFORMATION on Thursday, April 16, 2015. This Performance Installation is in partial fulfillment of the Master of Arts Degree in Dance and will premiere five new works developed over the last two years. Collaborators include: DJ Ryan Chavers, Painter Mapi Villalba, Photographer Melissa Artieda and the Luis Damian and Co., among others.
This is a FREE event! Doors will open at 6:30pm for the “pre-party,” as it is the artist’s birthday as well, and the show will start at 7:00pm. We hope you can join us for this special showcase and continue supporting student work at FSU. There will be many surprises, including audience interaction and participation! A Gov. ID is required for event entrance. See you there!
