FSU / Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training Director, Greg Leaming, Premieres at University of Delaware in The Patsy

Greg Leaming

Congratulations to Greg Leaming, the Director of the Asolo Conservatory, who will be premiering The Patsy, his original adaptation of Georges Feydeau’s French farce Le Dindon. The show will premiere at the Resident Ensemble Players on September 23, 2015 through October 11, 2015.

The Patsy
Directed by Steve Tague
Thompson Theatre, Roselle Center for the Arts
September 23 – October 11, 2015

This hilarious new version of Feydeau’s classic French farce was commissioned by the REP for our resident professional acting company. The Patsy is a lightning-paced romp brimming with old lovers, new flames, and a wildfire of misunderstandings and compromising positions.

Virtuous and faithful Lucienne has vowed never to cheat on her husband, unless, of course, he cheats on her first. Opportunities for hanky-panky abound when she is pursued by two lascivious family friends, her husband’s German lover reappears from the past, and two elderly American tourists just want a good night’s sleep in a lively Paris hotel.

Bedtime turns to bedlam with mistaken identities, exhausted libidos, and a few truths about the lasting pleasure of a committed relationship.
