Congratulations to the Department of Art for being ranked the #1 MFA Program in the state of Florida!


Florida State University Art Education students in the Introduction to Arts Administration (ARE4930) course planned a series of amazing projects that took place during Market Wednesdays to engage the student body.


The twelve Art History undergraduates in the spring Museum Object class opened their exhibition “Inked! The Evolution of Print Culture” to an enthusiastic crowd on April 18 in the WJB Gallery.

Twenty sophomore and junior Interior Architecture + Design students had the opportunity to attend a field trip to Orlando, Florida March 31st – April 2nd.


The College of Fine Arts School of Dance faculty and students attended the recent 2016 annual conference of the Popular Culture Association and American Culture Association (PCA/ACA) in Seattle WA..


The School of Theatre proudly presented their 2016 Music Theatre Showcase on May 2nd in New York City.


FAR’s SCAP Resident Artist, Sara White, has just received the University of Alabama College of Communication & Information Sciences’ annual Holle Book Arts Award.


The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training is a three-year graduate program culminating in a Master of Fine Arts degree.


MANCC is pleased to welcome Visiting Artist Cynthia Oliver into residence, who will be developing “Virago – Man Dem” her newest experimental work.


Please join us on Friday, May 20th from 6:00-8:00pm for the opening reception of the The Artists’ League Annual Summer Salon, “The Artful Nude” and The Tallahassee Watercolor Society’s 28th Tri-State Juried Water Media Exhibition.


The reinstallation and reinterpretation of The Ringling’s collections of European art by Dr. Virginia Brilliant, represents a new and transformative vision for the Museum of Art.
