Jennifer Hamrock

Department of Art Education

Jennifer Hamrock, Ph.D has worked within the field of art education as an artist, teacher, and researcher for over twenty years. She has worked with all age levels of students, from elementary regular education, elementary art, high school art,  undergraduate foundations, to graduate level courses at Georgia State University and Florida State University. Her experiences have lead her through four states, national board certification, various research projects, and preparing pre-service art teachers. Her academic interests focus on supporting art teachers, art education curriculum design, and community collaborations, where her work has been published in Art EducationThe International Journal of Arts EducationJournal of Art for Life, and Visual Inquiry
