Born in Jacksonville, raised in Tennessee on a steady diet of oral storytelling traditions in Appalachia.

Areas of Responsibility

Administering and planning to support the Institute of Arts & Art Therapy for the Imprisoned and its staff in their mission.

Education

After attending the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga, Emily matriculated at Florida State University, graduating with a bachelor’s in History, followed by a Master’s of Library Science.
