FSU Art Alum Caitlin Carr adds Oscar-nominated  film to her list of accomplishments

FSU Alumna Caitlin Carr (BFA ’13) is editor of the Oscar-nominated short film, “A Lien.”

Florida State University Department of Art alumna Caitlin Carr (BFA ‘13) served as editor of “A Lien,” an American short drama film, which was nominated for Best Live Action Short at this year’s Academy Awards.

The film, written and directed by David Cutler-Kreutz and Sam Cutler-Kreutz and executive produced by Adam McKay, follows the story of a young married couple navigating the immigration process.

Carr is known for her work on narrative films, advertising and music videos. The Brooklyn-based editor has been a part of high-profile projects including commercials for brands such as Gucci, VRBO Adidas and Meta, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Driver’s License,” and Modest Mouse’s “We Are Between.”
