"Bodies in Conversation," curated by Benjamin Bio, explores the body as a site of internal dialogue and lived experience. While grounded in figuration, the works move beyond representation to consider how artists use the body to reflect, question, and process their own realities. Across painting, sculpture, ceramics, and abstraction, the body appears in different states—fragmented, obscured, repeated, or transformed. The exhibition brings together graduate artists whose works can be understood as being in conversation with themselves. At the same time, it emphasizes the relativity of these experiences, how each artist’s understanding of the body is informed by their own histories, cultural contexts, and personal encounters with the world. By placing these works in dialogue, the exhibition highlights both shared concerns and differences, showing how the body can function as a common ground while still carrying deeply individual meanings.
