Jessica Sadowski Comas has been serving the FSU College of Fine Arts since January 2013, first as Senior Development Officer then as Director of Development since 2015. Prior to her move to Tallahassee, Comas served for four seasons as Director of Development for the Manhattan-based, Off Broadway theatre company Primary Stages, which is known in the national theatrical landscape for its dedication to playwright support and new play development. From 2005 to 2008, Comas worked at Manhattan Theatre Club as Manager of Institutional Giving where she focused on corporate fundraising.

A native of Alabama with roots in Chicago, Comas was raised in a family that stressed higher education, the arts, volunteerism and personal philanthropy. When not wearing garnet or crimson, Jessica is wearing the hat of mother to her two children, Patricia and Peter.

Areas of Responsibility

Cultivates lasting relationships with alumni and community members and solicits gifts in support of the needs of the College of Fine Arts and Florida State University, in consultation with the Dean and in accordance with the policies and mission of the FSU Foundation.
