Jordan is a passionate educator with over a decade of teaching experience in the state of Florida, having previously taught at Eau Gallie High School (Melbourne), Wakulla High School (Crawfordville), and Deer Lake Middle School (Tallahassee). He has served as the Florida Vocal Association District Chair for District 3 (Tallahassee), as well as the Music Director for the Henegar Center for the Arts (Melbourne). After 10 years of teaching, he is happy to be back at his Alma Mater and serving the students of FSU’s College of Fine Arts.
In his spare time, Jordan performs with FSU’s Chamber Choir and is an active, gigging musician in the local Tallahassee area.

Areas of Responsibility
Jordan Evans is the Academic Advisor for underclassman in the Studio Art (BA and BFA), Art History, and Interior Design majors. Starting at Orientation, Jordan advises all New Noles until they are certified into one of these 3 majors. He advises students in the Studio Art portion of the 5 year Combined BA in Art/MS in Art Education Degree Program. Additionally, Jordan conducts student surveys to provide data on student interests to faculty and staff.
