BA Theatre/BFA Dance – Advising First
Mikayla is a proud alumna of Florida State University with a B.S. in English Education. Upon graduation, she taught at Elizabeth Cobb Middle School here in Tallahassee. In 2022, she returned to FSU as an undergraduate advisor through Advising First. Housed in the College of Fine Arts, she gets to work with students majoring in BA Theatre and BFA Dance. Since starting this new adventure, she has earned various certificates, was selected to present “Ditch the Crystal Ball: Don’t Predict the Future, Prevent It” at the NACADA Regional Conference in New Orleans, and was nominated for the Provost’s “Outstanding Undergraduate Advising” Award.
