
Ryker Laramore

Ryker Laramore is originally from Tallahassee, Florida. Laramore’s early dance training started as a competitive dancer in a small local studio and his high school dance team. Laramore attended Florida State University School of Dance, completing the Combined Degree pathway, receiving both an M.A. and a B.F.A. in Dance with a Minor in Psychology. His main interests lie within dance medicine, somatic practices, and choreography. Since graduating, he’s had experience working in the FSU Physical Therapy clinic finding the intersection of dance and rehabilitation. Laramore continues to choreograph, perform, and occasionally picks up a camera during his downtime. Most recently, he was a company member with Dance NOW! Miami under the artistic direction of Hannah Baumgarten and Diego Salterini. Laramore has performed works by Mikaila Ware, Caroline Labreche, Merce Cunningham via Silas Riener, Alex Ketley, Christian Burns, Ohad Naharin via Kelvin Vu, José Limón via Dante Puleo and Daniel ‘Danny’ Lewis, Mark Caserta, and Kara WIlkes. Notable collaborators include Rachel Hunter and Anna Paterson. He is currently pursuing his Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Training under the guidance of Patricia Welters, “The Pilates Whisperer”.
