Sheridan Markham
Adjunct Instructor
Interior Architecture & Design
Following her graduation from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, Sheridan continued her education at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to pursue her Masters in Interior Design. At SCAD she was able to work with companies such as JW Marriott and Hermès – creating invigorating hospitality and retail environments. Shortly after graduation, Sheridan became a part of the BHDM team in New York City, delving into hospitality design with an emphasis on curating narratives that seeped into every space of a project. Sheridan puts emphasis on the importance of user journey, often researching theories and psychology principles to create a successful environment. In addition to executing projects for clients on both the East and West coasts, Sheridan was notably a part of the team that coordinated BHDM’s DIFFA by Design exhibit in 2022, a charity event that promotes awareness of AIDS through interior design.
