Fred Salancy, Dean’s Advisory Council

Fred Salancy, MA, MFA, CFRE has over 30 years of experience as a professional fundraiser. In 2000 he joined the FSU Foundation, and in 2002 he was selected as the first Assistant Dean of Fine Arts Development where he and then Dean Sally McRorie created the Dean’s Advisory Council. Since then, Fred has worked in leadership roles in advancement at Spring Hill College and The Catholic University of America where he developed a major gift fund raising program for the arts and helped create the Catholic Arts Council. Fred currently leads the development efforts for the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, DC.
