Jolene Hazelwood serves as the Assistant to the Dean, providing executive and administrative support across a wide range of responsibilities. As the first point of contact for the Dean, she plays a crucial role in facilitating communication between the Dean’s Office and campus and community stakeholders. She manages the Dean’s calendar, travel arrangements, and daily workflow to ensure efficiency and organization.
Jolene coordinates and oversees key administrative processes, including college award nominations, memberships, reports, and faculty and student grant reimbursements. She also plays an integral role in committee coordination, serving as the liaison and meeting coordinator for the Dean’s Advisory Council and other faculty and administrative committees. Additionally, she oversees office operations and ensures seamless event planning and execution for College-wide events.
With over seven years of experience in the College of Business before transitioning to the College of Fine Arts, Jolene brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in higher education administration. Her dedication to efficiency, organization, and collaboration makes her an invaluable member of the College of Fine Arts leadership team.
