Tuition/Fees

Undergraduate

For some, the hardest part of going to college is determining how to pay for it. Florida State University is committed to providing you with the best financial aid package possible to enable you to enroll. The key to all need-based aid is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. We encourage you to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1. For full Main Campus Tuition Rates and Fee Definitions, please see attached Tuition Rates documentation.

Graduate

Graduate School Admissions is competitive. Students must meet both University and departmental requirements. Please explore the Graduate School website for general University admission information and the academic department website of your intended major for specific admission requirements. More information can be found on The Graduate School website.

Application for financial awards and application for graduate school admission are two separate processes often with different deadlines. Students need to make separate applications for each award sought. The process of identifying financial assistance should begin at least one year prior to beginning a graduate program. There are a number of available options when it comes to funding your graduate education at Florida State University. The Graduate School administers merit and need-based fellowships, awards, and grants. More information can be found on the Graduate Funding Opportunity website.
