This year, The College of Fine Arts will be accepting donations to support our College Leadership Council. This will be their first student research/artistic grant and will fund the April 2018 release of SIX magazine. Your gift celebrates student achievement and supports future work from across the College of Fine Arts!
The College Leadership Council will award the first student research/artistic grant to a student project in the College of Fine Arts that contains exceptional creativity and innovative content. The council will award the grant on the same evening as the April 2018 release of SIX magazine – an annual publication of the College Leadership Council featuring research, essays and visual work by students in the College of Fine Arts.
The launch event for SIX magazine celebrates student achievement from all six academic departments in the College of Fine Arts. Faculty, staff, alumni, donors, students and friends of the College will be invited to gather in the lobby of the Fine Arts Building to enjoy live performances and artist displays.
Established in Fall 2010, the College of Fine Arts Leadership Council (CLC) was founded to promote collaboration and communication between the students in all the departments from the College. The CLC is made up of 17 students with graduate and undergraduate representatives from each department and school. The CLC encourages interdisciplinary communication and artistic collaboration.
Our belief that multidisciplinary cooperation will make us better artists and work toward a stronger college.
