Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol Carnaghi Arts Building between the hours of 4:30pm and 1:00am. Serve as the front desk attendant and perform rounds of the building to ensure the safety and security of the students, faculty and staff. Security Staff may confront issues of policy, safety or security, as well as assist in times of emergency or crisis. Communicate frequently with the College of Fine Arts Facilities Manger to ensure that they are informed of what is happening in the building. This position requires compliance with University Confidentially policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma.
Ability to understand and implement University policy is required as well as ability to communicate clearly in writing. Must be able to appropriately report emergency situations.
Preferred
Experience in building security is a plus.
Anticipated Salary Range
$10.00/hour
Pay Plan
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
Schedule
10-15 hours per week between the hours of 4:30pm-1:00am. Days may vary.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
