Meredith McKinney, born 1943, grew up on a farm in Indiana. He attended Indiana University for his undergraduate and medical school degrees. He obtained four years of general surgery training at the University of Florida, and two years of plastic surgery training at Indiana University. McKinney spent two years in the military with US Special Forces. He has been practicing plastic surgery in Tallahassee, Florida since 1976. McKinney is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Dermatology at Florida State University. His wife Elsa graduated from FSU’s College of Law and two of their three children have degrees from FSU as well. He has served on the executive committee of the FSU College of Music’s Musical Associates, and is involved with Allies for Arts Committee and Friends of the Museum Committee. Meredith has had a lifetime love and appreciation for the arts, with a special interest in photography.
